What started as a simple chat in 2018 has blossomed into one of the most innovative self-care brands in the world. After a mental health and existential crisis, Rachael Akhidenor, an inspiring Australian woman of colour, set out to find self-care products that resonated with her as a modern city dweller. Finding nothing that fit the bill, she decided to create her own. In an industry that often catered to the wealthy and white, Rachael sparked a movement by slapping “self-care” on a t-shirt and calling it Wearable Activism, igniting meaningful conversations.
